Under the Sea by kemariel Under the Sea by kemariel
Finished this today!
This piece combines the story of Sleeping Beauty and The Little Mermaid. c:

So glad I finished this. I redid the round coral piece three times because I couldn't decide what color I wanted, and then ended up using all the colors together because I liked the effect. x'D I can't wait to move on to my next project. @ w@;; So many paper cutting ideas~

You can find more photos and description at my papercutting blog, Papersea: [link]

Under the Sea by *emberhue is a delicate work of art made out of cut paper. It's full of detail and it makes great use of the different layers, besides those little fish are adorable! ( Suggested by 3lda and Featured by Talty )

As in the description, the paper is Canson Mi-teintes. c: Other than that my main tools are a normal #11 xacto knife and some craft glue. c:

You are more than welcome!
I can't find anything else to work with in this city other than the Canson, but I think it's winning me over! (And it's a good thing, I think.) :)

Love the layers and the play with light and shadow. Exquisite work. Do use foam to make the paper pop out or is the piece 100% paper?

This is amazing! And all with paper? This is both adorable, and yet...It blows my mind on how well this looks. I never thought of really using paper to make something like this oAo It's well-done, and pretty detailed.
And it looks...delicate and dainty. ;w;
